There's little question that getting a mortgage is a complex process. You wouldn't be researching mortgage loans if it were possible to get a mortgage loan in one day by filling out a simple application. There are four primary steps involved in obtaining a mortgage loan.

Step one: Decide how much you can afford

This is a function of a couple things. What kind of monthly payment are you looking for? What is the maximum you can borrow from a lender, given your income and credit history? Step two: complete a pre-qualification

This is where the process really begins and you save the most money. You will supply details on your current job, your assets, and residence history. You'll supply information on your employment, asset, and residence history. We get your permission to run your credit score and report. After we have reviewed this information we will provide a pre-qualification letter. Be careful with this letter — it can be a useful tool for buying your new home! With this letter, your REALTOR® will negotiate the best deal for your new home. The pre-qual letter gives you buying clout! While you're shopping for a new home with your real estate agent, we find the best program for you.

Step three: apply now! We make it easy

After you've signed the offer and the sellers have accepted, it's time to apply for the loan. It couldn't be easier, and you can do it online, right here on our site. When the time is right, we will order an appraisal of your new home.

Step four: funding

The real estate agents will find a title company to handle the "funding" of the loan and closing of the sale. We'll work with this company to make sure all the papers your lender needs are in order, and you'll probably}likely sign everything at their officeWe coordinate with this company on your closing date. Since you don't have to worry about these details, you get to think about the move, painting, new carpet, and the fun parts of getting a new house.
